Sa chair s\u00e9ch\u00e9e fait partie int\u00e9grante de la pharmacop\u00e9e chinoise. Le longane renforce la rate, favorisant ainsi le syst\u00e8me digestif. Il traite ainsi les ballonnements, les selles molles ou le manque d&rsquo;app\u00e9tit. Le longane tonifie le sang, il est donc recommand\u00e9 en cas de faiblesse ou de convalescence.
