
THE BENEFITS OF CHINESE DIETETICS
Dietetics is one of the pillars of Chinese medicine. It is based on the same principles of energy balance: yin/yang, five elements etc. Food is considered as an energy regulator, nourishing our physical, mental and spiritual needs.
Through their experience of more than 2500 years, the Chinese have managed to classify each food according to 5 criteria: its nature (heating, cooling…), its flavor (linked to the five elements), its tropism and its therapeutic actions.
Common sense dietetics it invites us to eat fresh, healthy and natural food, as varied as possible. “He who does not know how to eat, does not know how to live” (Sun Si Miao, Chinese physician).
