CHINESE MEDICINE TO HELP LOWER BACK PAIN
Low back pain (Yāo tòng) affects between 50 and 70% of the population. The origin is variable. It lasts from a few days in the acute phase to several years. Sometimes, these low back pains are accompanied by sciatica, or even cruralgia.
These low back pains can have very diverse origins: excessive or inappropriate physical activity, repeated bad posture, lifting of heavy loads, trauma, overwork, emotional imbalance, etc.
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) links these pathologies to the Kidneys and the Bladder. Therefore, any deficiency in the energy of these organs will favor the appearance of low back pain.
We effectively treat these back pains with TCM thanks to acupuncture and pharmacopoeia, often combined. Tuina massage and cupping can also be used.
