EATING FOR HEALTH WITH CHINESE MEDICINE
Although food is a matter of culture, there are universal rules that promote health.
In Chinese medicine (TCM), hot, cooked food is preferred, as it is easier to assimilate; meals are eaten consciously and calmly.
It is important to drink (1l / day) in a fractioned manner and outside of meals. This is to avoid straining the kidneys.
A balanced plate consists mainly of seasonal vegetables, cereals and legumes, all in a variety of colours. Meat and fish should be eaten in very small quantities.
Finally, TCM recommends not exceeding the satiety threshold so as not to tire the body.
