STAGNATION: A SOURCE OF PATHOLOGIES
According to Chinese medicine, stagnations of Qi and blood are a major cause of pain. Blood circulates because Qi (energy) mobilizes it. So a stagnation of Qi can generate a stasis of blood and vice versa.
If these stagnations last, they generate the production of a toxic substance (Re Du), which must be eliminated by the immune system. If the immune system is weak, diseases such as eczema or psoriasis can occur. Stagnation is also one of the main causes of cancer.
There are many factors that cause stagnation: lack of movement, overwork, stress, lack of sleep, poor diet, trauma… Acupuncture, pharmacopoeia, as well as manual techniques can free this stagnation.
